10)“When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success.” Do you agree or disagree with the quotation above? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your position.

Some people believe that success can be only obtained from hard working. However I do not agree with this view because I saw many people who become a millionaire by winning a public lottery and a lot of scientific facts found by accident. There are some specific reasons why I believe that luck is related to success.

First, there are many people who become a rich or occupy jobs without efforts. For example, a person who are born rich can spend a lot of money for one's whole life even if he did not have a job. Moreover, some people win a public lottery and become a millionaire by luck. Although many people bought lotteries, a probability of winning is too low to difficult to win. However, someone can achieve this fortune. These cases can not be explained by anything except luck. Besides, the person whose father is a president of a big company can get a job or promote easily.

Secondly, many scientific results are found by accident. That is, facts which scientists never intend can occur and develop something new. For example, a penicillin which is founded by professor Fleming is an incidental discovery. When Fleming made an experiment about germs, he saw germs which is covered with mold. However, some day he found germs which become clean, and he studies a reason of this phenomenon over and over. Finally, he named it penicillin. Besides, Archimedes also found buoyant force's theory while he were taking a bath by chance.

In sum, luck is very important thing to succeed because there are many people who succeed easily through winning lotteries or borning in a wealth family. Moreover, scientific theories which are known to us are also found by chance.
